Yes and no. We started as a group of friends wanting to experience and enjoy wine — and as opportunity and interest arose, we began hosting monthly meetups with great bottles and good people. Anyone was always welcome, and we organically grew into a wine community built around discovering great South African wine together. Now we run tastings, events, pop-up bars and winemaker meetups — and The Clubhouse in Woodstock is our new home where you can taste and buy wine, attend events, and connect with other wine lovers.Because wine is better discovered together.

Not at all. CTWC exists specifically for people at every level — whether you're just starting out or have been collecting for years. Curiosity is the only requirement.

We run a variety of events throughout the year. Our flagship event is (usually) held on the last Saturday of the month, sans December, where we invite winemakers to share their wines and stories.We also host occasional pop-up bars, wine workshops, and a wine festival twice a year — in January and November.

Most events are ticketed and open to everyone. An insider membership just makes it better — 20% off event tickets, early access before public release, discounts on wine purchases, and invitations to member-only tastings.

Yes — The Clubhouse in Woodstock is our home and our shop. We stock a curated selection of independent South African producers, available to browse and buy in person. And if you need a coffee while you're there, we've partnered with Platform Coffee who run the space by day — so you're covered on that front too.
